I will be so relieved when our last document arrives tomorrow in Eastern Europe. Our Facilitation Team will then have all of our paperwork...57 days from when we began this process. Having our completed Dossier in hand, our team will then submit it to the government, The next step will be for "that" government to issue us a DAP appointment date, which could be as soon the beginning of May. We should be notified of this date sometime in April and we will plan to arrive in-county the day before our scheduled DAP appointment. Once I know our last document arrives tomorrow I can relax a little bit, knowing our part is done in regards to paperwork.
Completing the paperwork leaves mostly just the money to worry about. The blessing of this expedited process has brought with it the added stress of less time to save money. When you're planning on putting 5k a month towards an adoption that is supposed to happen in July, moving that adoption up by 3 months (after adding a second child) basically blows the budget...or at least the "income" column! We have some options, thank goodness, and I'm trying to stay positive. But I can't help but want to put that stress behind me and relish in just the positives of what's to come. I'm sure that's like being 8 months pregnant and wishing to just hold your sweet infant in your arms and skip labor? One can dream right!
Time to snuggle with my little man and read bed time stories. I have a feeling it will be "Team Turbo" again. Tonight when talking about Daddy going to work, Will told me he wanted to go to work at a Taco Truck-Dos Bros Taco Truck. Thank you Team Turbo for inspiring career goals. In 20 years if you run across a Taco Truck that sells Tacos, French Fries and Ice Cream, just ask for Will!
