Time to hurry up and wait! I still can't believe in just a few short hours we will meet our sweet baby boy, Hamilton. The minutes are crawling by. We barely slept at all last night. I'm guessing it was part nerves and part totally messed up sleep patterns after the craziness of work the 2 weeks before we left, no sleep Monday night and the 20+ hours of travel. There will be sleeping pills tonight and I will be somehow disabling hubby's FaceTime. If I'm woken up another time by that annoying ring while he attempts to FaceTime everyone he knows, I can't promise where his phone may end up. Let's hope a sleep aid does the trick!
We are waiting now to file paperwork for our second DAP appointment. That's right, we are still bringing home two! A little boy about 6 months old, also with Down syndrome, and about 30 minutes outside of the city. He is such a cutie! Pics and more info will come early next week. We hope to meet him Monday or Tuesday, in time for hubby to see him before he flys home early Thursday morning.
So...time to hurry up and wait! We'll file paperwork this morning and then about 3pm we'll pick up Hamilton's referral and head to the orphanage. It's still so surreal to be here...just hours away from meeting our child. I'm so grateful to have this opportunity, to have so much love and support from you all. We are beyond blessed!
